NCAA RE-CERTIFIES EASTWIND AVIATION
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has re-certified Eastwind Aviation Logistics Services Limited following a comprehensive regulatory review of the airline's safety and operational systems.
The Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) was recently presented at the NCAA Headquarters in Abuja.
In his remarks, the Director-General, Civil Aviation (DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo, emphasized that recertification is an ongoing process rather than a one-time event. He stated that the Authority will continue to closely monitor the airline to ensure strict compliance with safety standards.
Obinna Ojiako, CEO of Eastwind Aviation Logistics Services Limited, reaffirmed the management's commitment to maintaining high safety and operational performance standards.
Also in attendance were Capt. Donald Spiff, Director of Operations, Licensing and Training; Barr. Mary Tufano-Eche, Director Legal Services; Engr. Ifeanyi Iteke, General Manager, Air Operator Certificate and Surveillance; and Captain Bello Abubakar, amongst others.
